Recently, I was given the opportunity to create my very own photo book, courtesy of the lovely people at Blurb.
What, you haven’t heard of them? They are a creative publishing company that allows ANYONE to create, share and sell their own photo books via one amazing platform. You can either upload your own photos from your PC or choose one of their other options, such as importing photos from Facebook or Instagram!
For my book, I wanted to utilize their Instagram capabilities, as I have a special fondness for my phone photos and wanted to have a hard copy of some of the special memories we’ve captured over the last few months.
I chose to stick with more recent photos, specifically those that have been taken this autumn. From our first day of fall spent at Lake Louisa to our trip back to Pennsylvania to see my family, I had SO many photos to choose from, it was hard to narrow them down.
Luckily, Blurb makes it so easy to manage the photos, lay them out and form the most perfect book.

As most of the photos are of Dexter, he has become infatuated with the book. And impressively, his usual toddler antics have not managed to hurt the book at all! Most of his own books are tattered and torn from constant page turning and rough play, but it is a testament to the book’s durability that he has managed not to hurt it at all. He spends ages just gazing at the pages, hopefully remembering all the happy memories of playing in the leaves, chasing dogs, and spending time with his grandparents.

I am so happy to have had the opportunity to own one of these beautiful books, and I want to make YOU lucky, too! The wonderful folks at Blurb have offered up a $50 gift code to one lucky reader of this blog. And that could be ANYone, anyWHERE!
If you want to create your own book and have a beautiful memento, all you have to do is leave a blog post comment telling me what kind of book you’d love to create. You can get extra entries by following the instructions in the Rafflecopter widget below.
Good luck and a big thank you to Blurb for their generosity.
