A Much Needed Update

I know it’s been ages since I’ve updated this site, but if you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you’ll know that the reason is twofold:

1/ I have just moved back to the USA! Florida, to be exact! And it is a major life change, which has necessitated a big break from blogging…

Which brings me to my next reason…

2/ I have a new blog! Yes, SnuggleBubby is here and will continue to stick around, but I really wanted a fresh start where I could freely write about things OTHER than motherhood and babyfood. So at the end of April, I created HerPretty, a follow-on blog which is more of a LIFESTYLE blog than anything else. Feel free to come on over and say hi!

Since moving to the US, we’ve been staying in a short term holiday villa in the city of Davenport. It’s not the nicest area, and so I spend most of my time cooped up in the house, taking care of Dexter and reading facebook.

It’s not thrilling.

But I must admit to having had some fun with online Bingo lately. I’ve always been pretty lucky with gambling. I once won 5K on a nickel slot machine! So it’s fun to play with a bit of pocket money and win even more pocket money. Sure I’ve not had any life-changing wins yet, but ya never know when the big win will strike, right!? Just don’t tell Mark!

In every other regard, life is just pootling along as normal. We’ll be moving house again soon to somewhere more permanent (ie – longer than a month) and that should be fun. I hope to be able to update again soon.
