With the holiday season approaching, it’s a good time to start thinking of great gifts to give to those close to us. And one of my favorite things each year is putting together some sort of photo project to give to close family members. This is even more exciting now that we have children of our own. And while this year has been all about Dexter, this next year will be crazy with the addition of our second child!
So when the fine folks at Hello Canvas offered to let me review an amazing photo on canvas, you’d better believe I jumped at the chance.
The process should have been easy – choose a photo, send it to them and they’d take care of the rest. Easy peasy, yes? Except how do you choose just one photo to immortalise forever?! Argh.
You might remember earlier this year when Dexter and Mark got together to buy me a photo canvas for Mother’s Day. It, too, was from Hello Canvas and blew me away when I got it. So my expectations were just as high this time around.
I finally settled on a very recent photo of Mark, Dexter and I hiking at Rimrock on our visit to Pennsylvania last month. I sent it off, and I was astounded when the finished product was on my doorstep only two days later!
The quality was amazing. The resolution was perfect, and it was cropped exactly how I wanted it.

It’s hard to capture the true beauty of the canvas on my camera phone, but I promise you that it is perfect.
Now the only hard part is finding the perfect place to hang it! Right now, it is sitting on top of my hope chest in our bedroom, waiting for inspiration to strike so that I can hang it up where it will make the most impact.

For now, it is great to just wake up each morning and have it be the first thing I see. Thank you so much to the folks at Hello Canvas. I now have a good idea on what to get the grandparents for Christmas! Not to mention all the decorating around our house I’ll be wanting to do in future!

Thank you hon. I definitely need to find the best place for it. I think it might end up above our bed. :D
I found you via the Bloggy Moms Blog Hop. I don’t currently do reviews on my site, but if I was offered one of these I might reconsider. Beautiful shot, beautiful family
